Working for the nonprofit Curing Kids Cancer, I have created video content in order to promote the efforts of spreading awareness of childhood cancers. I also focused on appealing to the audience’s emotions to implore them to donate to pediatric cancer research. Specifically, a campaign called Apart But United that was implemented throughout COVID-19 during #GivingTuesdayNow and #MidlandsGivesDay was able to raise over $8,000 for the nonprofit. Two of these videos were released during that time.  The final video focuses on providing information on another fundraising outlet for Curing Kids Cancer, which is their Teachers Curing Kids Cancer program.

I worked with the Recreational Sports department at the University of Georgia for two years. During my time there, I worked primarily to provide digital media that recapped events that occurred, promoted the overall efforts of the department, and encouraged students to stay active. These high-energy videos are edited to appeal to young college students and imitate professional sports hype videos. These videos have all been conceptualized, shot, and edited by me during my time at the university.

My marketing internship at Metal + Petal interior design firm allowed me to create digital content to promote the efforts of the business to its followers. Because of the two aspects of the business, an interior design studio and a home store, I created videos that focused on showcasing housing projects as well as promoting new products in the store. Additionally, the design firm moved locations, and I had the opportunity to fully document the process of moving in order to create a promotional video for Metal + Petal to communicate the concept and story behind the move.
